NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING
SHREWSBURY COOPERATIVE AT PIERCE’S STORE
March 8, 2024
Pursuant to Article III, Section 3.4 of the Bylaws of the Shrewsbury Cooperative at Pierce’s store (SCPS), notice is hereby given that the 15th Annual Meeting of the Owners will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 6:30 in the evening at the Shrewsbury Meeting House/Town Hall on Lincoln Hill Road, Shrewsbury, Vermont.
The purpose of the meeting is to report to our members on the operations and finances of SCPS in 2023 and to consider the following:
* Elect a member to the Board for a three-year term that will expire in 2027.
* Elect Lily French to complete the term vacated by a previous member. This term expires in 2025, and was partially completed by Liz Bullock.
Only persons who are member owners prior to the commencement of the meeting are entitled to vote.
Each shareowner* has one and only one vote on each matter submitted, despite the actual number of shares owned. Ballots are available at the store.
