When will the snow melt???? Have you seen the pile of snow in front of the porch at the Store? As the days get longer, the snow around here seems to continue to pile up. Still, we’re counting down the days until Spring and want you to join us. The snow pile in front Pierce’s (the one with the flag on top) has always been one of the last signs of fading winter. So, we’re holding a raffle to guess the day the snow finally dissappears. We’re thinking it certainly will stick around through March so tickets will be sold until April 1. But get your guess in early! This raffle is a fundraiser for the Store BUT, the winner will split the pot with the Store 50/50. Come on in and place your guess at the register. Staff will log your pick. Proceeds will be split evenly between people guessing the same date. If the pile disappears overnight, the following day will be the official date. If no one picks the exact date, the guess(es) closest to the date will win! $3 for one guess, $5 for two guesses. Time to Renew Your Membership for 2026 Pierce’s is a member owned store. Your annual membership renewal supports our bottom line and entitles you to a 2% discount and a vote at our annual meeting. Renew for your household for $20 at the register next time you’re in the store. Catering Hosting a crowd? Pierce’s has you covered. From a selection of our muffins, scones, and cookies to a sandwich selection, custom charcuterie platter or other savory food for a big group. Seeking: Pierce’s Store is looking for weekend volunteers to help run our register. Saturdays and Sundays are fun days here at the store and this is a wonderful opportunity to meet thy neighbor and support our community. Volunteer shifts are only 4 hours.
